Week 7 - Glamor shots!

Week 7 - Glamor shots!

This week the sleeping got a little better, we are consistently getting 4 hours at the start of the night followed by 3 hour segments after that. Violet is starting to stay awake a lot during the day and although most of the time she wants held when she is awake. Her eyesight is getting better and she has spent time in her swing watching the mobile a lot. She will also turn her head when someone is talking to her and loves to smile at her daddy! Of course she doesn't smile much at me, but I am used to it. Both of her brothers would smile at their Daddy more than me so I must just be chopped liver at this age!

She loves baths and just kind of melts into the warm water and lets me scrub her down! We got our first "glamor shot" this week, and missed a smile by mere seconds, but I had OF COURSE turned the camera off and she started smiling! She is still growing like crazy and when she went to the doctors this week she weighed 12 pounds 13 ounces!!! My little chunky monkey!
