(6/8/11 - 6/24/11)
This week Violets belly button fell off so we got to give her, her first bath!!! SHE HATED IT!!!!
The boys loved it, and they helped me bathe her, but no matter what we did she would only stop crying for a few minutes and then start whaling again!
Violet is also packing on the pounds and is weighing in at 9 pounds. She eats like a champ and is keeping mommy up at all hours eating and fussing! At this point she will eat every hour and a half and has had a few days where she will try and "tank up" every 50 minutes before bedtime. The longest she has gone at night between feedings is 3 hours and unfortunately at this point in time (at two weeks old) this is few and far between, but that is to be expected. During the day she is still just sleeping and will occasionally open ONE EYE and peek around only to close her eye and go back to sleep! Overall though pretty easy baby (hope I didn't just jinx myself)
