(10/29/11- 11/4/11)
This week was spent going to pumpkin patches, wearing our Halloween outfits and having a great time! The weather was decent (60's) so we go to spend a alot of time outside without freezing. Most mornings we needed hats, but by the evenings the weather was great to spend outside and watch her brothers play. Sleeping is still horrendous and she feels like she might be getting a tooth but I know from experience that a swollen bump on the gums could still mean weeks of teething before it breaks through. Tylenol was brought out this week to see if it helps her nap and settle some of her crankiness! I also decided to try and feed her a little bit of sweet potatoes to see if that filled her stomach up to sleep, but she wanted about 2 bites so it didn't help! I will try cereal or bananas to see if she likes them better. I am in no way weaning her but just was hoping that a few spoonfuls of food before bed could help her sleep.
Violet was a pumpkin this year for Halloween ( like her brothers before her) and with her orange and black tights on we set out for our annual Halloween parade with family and friends! We also got an AWESOME picture of her at the pumpkin patch and with her getting stronger and stronger with sitting we found a great place for her to show off her sitting skills in the middle of a few pumpkins! Her new trick for this week is blowing bubbles which is adorable and extremely messy combined! Overall even without sleep she is a VERY social little butterfly and loves smiling and kicking her arms and legs to show her excitement for anyone who will pay her two seconds of attention!
