Growing up fast!

Growing up fast!

Both of my boys are growing up soooo fast! With a now 1 and 3 year old the new "milestones" are coming fast on both sides. Jacob is learning how to "imagine" and has his first "imaginary friend", a ghost named Boo! He can now sing his ABC's (with of course LMNOP still tripping him up), he is a master of shapes, puzzles, most colors, and can count up to 3 objects (like: Jacob please give me three chips!) but can count to 10 with minimal problems!

We started preschool this week with a few of our friends. A sort of "homeschool preschool". Myself, and two friends each take a month and teach our oldest boys (all 3-3 1/2 years old) while the other two moms take care of our youngest boys! We have only had 3 classes so far and Jacob is still pretty timid but today he made it through without crying for me the whole time so I consider it a success!!! I am really looking forward to Jacob learning more independance, patience, and turn taking while in the class away from me.


Andrew has added a new word to his vocabulary the ever cute "UH OH" although he has yet to say it in the proper context he loves this new word and says it about 30+ times a day. You will hear him saying it in his crib when he wakes up, in the play room, dinner table, car seat, etc...you name it he is saying it! He is also dabbling in the art of walking and will consistantly take 2-3 steps on his own a few times a day. It is usually walking between the couch and coffee table or from somewhere into my arms. He is also standing independently for longer periods of time and will fall only when he realizes he is standing on his own and then, BAM, onto his butt he goes! He also loves being "walked" around by anyone who can bear to bend over and hold his hands for LOOONNNGGGG periods of time!
