We had a wonderful 1st birthday party for Violet, and everyone in the family showed up for the perfect 78 degree weather! I spent all week making Owl fondant cupcakes, and even made gluten free/dairy free cupcakes and buttercream icing that was AWESOME! Violet knew that it was a special day and flirted with everyone and was the perfect party host. She let everyone pass her around and gobbled up all of the millions of kisses that were given to her! She got some new pj's, clothes, swimsuits, baby dolls, and Aunt Renee sewed her some homemade Owls for her bed. Overall the party couldn't have gone smoother and it is sad to think that it is already here and gone!
