Just a quick update!

Just a quick update!

Life is crazy with two kids, but there are a few quick things I wanted to update about Andrew. Now unfortunately Andrew's updates compared to Jacobs at this age are not quite as long or as often but I am making sure that all of the high spots are hit and that he will have more than enough information about what he was like and when he hit certain milestones!

So a quick update for this week is:

Walking has just gone off without a hitch he is a speed demon and occasionally tries to run but it ALWAYS ends up in him falling. He doesn't quite have his balance for speed yet. He got his first new pair of shoes and they are helping him walk around stores and outside. His one "quirky" thing is that he REFUSES to walk on grass. I guess it isn't hard enough for him, so he will drop down and crawl when he gets to grass!

Kissing is big these past few weeks and he has even started blowing kisses which is the cutest! He holds his hand up to his mouth and then blows a rasberry on his hand!! It cracks me up every time!!

He is DEFINITELY saying the word "MUM" when he wants something to eat. He says "MUM" because I always say "YUM" when I feed him. He will bring me crackers from the pantry or will point to food and say very clearly and consistently "MUM"!

We are trying to get him to talk more and he is trying, but doesn't have much more yet. Although we have noticed these last two weeks that his constant babbling has changed and now instead of bababababa or nananananana it has morphed into gadaba and bamama so he is combining his syllables which is great! Just the next step to putting it all together!

Last but certainly not least, he has started following directions, albeit simple ones....he will go get the ball in the other room for you, or even his phone (he has Paul's old cell phone), and if you say "Go get your phone" he will go into a completely different room and go get the phone! Pretty cool!!
